Mossleys Afghan Sand Gang consist of Patrick Neville on guitar and vocals, Matthew Burgess on synthesizers and vocals, and Will Owen on bass. Their sound explores the realms of Electronic, Shoegaze, Krautdance and Psych for a truly exciting listen. They released their debut extended play in 2018 entitled ‘Machine Music’ which was regarded as one of the debut records of the year. Louder than War called it a throbbing droning krautdance hypnotic affair which we can’t disagree with. Afghan Sand Gang have sold out multiple venues across Manchester on their own as the headliner. They have also played gigs supporting other Mossley group Cabbage, The Blinders and White Room. Afghan Sand Gang are destined to follow in the footsteps of their compadres.
