Calum Bowie was born in Banchory, Aberdeenshire and is based in Edinburgh. Taking inspiration from the likes of Sam Fender, Alfie Templeman and Maisie Peters, Calum is renowned for his charismatic on-stage presence and the energy he brings to his live shows, where audiences sing every song back word-for-word. In 2023 Calum played sold-out gigs across the UK and Ireland plus triumphant slots at The Great Escape, TRNSMT, Kendal Calling and Y Not festivals. In 2024 so far, he’s played Glastonbury, Boardmasters and Belladrum, toured with Dylan Gossett and Myles Smith and supported James Arthur and Cian Ducrot. With 85k+ monthly listeners on Spotify and over 3 million global streams, Calum’s music has been championed by BBC Radio 1‘s Future Pop, Future Alternative and Future Artists shows and as ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland. His social media presence is ever growing, with 673k+ followers across TikTok, Instagram and Spotify. His videos have been viewed over 63 million times on TikTok, with 11m likes and 775,000 times on YouTube.
