GEORGE LAWSON

Lancashire born George Lawson really wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to writing his songs.

Delivering high energy, anthemic indie pop tunes mixed with vulnerable and slightly melancholic undertones, Lawson talks about his life experiences of falling in and out of love, dealing with loss and just trying to understand himself and the changing world around him.

Inspired by an eclectic range of artists spanning from Role Model, LANY, Dominic Fike and Portugal The Man from the US, to British artists such as Harry Styles, Easy Life, Declan Mckenna and The 1975. George has worked hard to incorporate all the elements from these artist to create his own unique, individual sound.

He released his debut single ‘Me&U’ in January, closely followed by his second single ‘MISYA’ and through self promotion on social media he managed to gain the attention of BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing, meaning his first 2 singles had multiple national radio plays. With his third single ‘End of a Gun’ out now and quickly gaining traction it’s safe to say George Lawson is one to watch.
