One of our life missions at the deaf institute is to be as sustainable as possible to look after our lovely planet. From our plant powered kitchen making sure we make as little food waist as possible, to simply just recycling and reusing, we like to do our bit for this planet.
Now we have teamed up with Total Betty Vintage and are hosting a swap shop on Thursday 30th May 6pm – 9pm.
At Total Betty they are all about reducing our fashion footprint and in light of the recent environmental protests they want to help everyone have a sustainable shopping experience with a difference!
HOW THE SWAP WORKS:
Bring 3+ items of clothing which will be graded on arrival into two categories based on condition and value and cash them in for tokens for swapping ! Swap within like for like grades or upgrade with extra items. Only clean and non damaged items please! The more you bring the more you can take home.
There will also be a carefully curated collection of Total Betty Vintage available which is priced separately. Expect everything from 60s mini dresses to colourful mohair knits, 90s tracks to corduroy flares – we got it all, mens and womens!
Based in the downstairs bar at The Deaf Institute. Grab a pint and get shopping.
Limited number of £1 Early Bird tickets available via eventbrite, or £3 on the door!!
