Tallsaint makes her Manchester premiere at the Deaf Institute on the 28th of September for Stay Fresh. Her distinct sound is comprised of a multitude of different elements from genres such as electro-pop, art-pop and lo-fi house just to name a few. She wears her influences on her sleeve, but not too much that she, sounds like a carbon copy of something else that has come previously. Tallsaint mixes her influences of St Vincent, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip and Wild Beasts together well to create her own brand of pop. Her lyrical themes however build an array of different imagery, for its listeners which delve into feelings of obsession, romance, anxiety, vulnerability and womanhood. Tallsaints formulae for a great pop song has gained her plaudits and fans nationally. It’s only a matter of time before Tallsaint hits the big time.
